日本に来たきっかけと、フランス語先生になったきっかけ

I studied Japanese at college in France, where we focused mostly on reading and writing. I felt that my oral skills were lacking, so I decided to come to Japan to improve them. I have always been fascinated by the Japanese language from a very young age—by the kanji and the sounds of the language, which are very different from what I knew. In France, we are exposed to Japanese culture early, through anime on TV and manga sold in bookstores. I also love music and was inspired by various Japanese artists back in high school.
After all this experience learning a completely different culture, I feel that there are no more beautiful moments than connecting with people and sharing what you know about your own culture. Our culture is who we are; an intimate part of ourselves, an important part of our identity, and teaching it also allows us to reconnect with it. That is why I decided to teach French.

フランスの大学で日本語を専攻し、主に読むことと書くことに重点を置いて学びました。しかし、会話力に不安を感じ、日本での学習を通してそれを伸ばしたいと思い来日しました。幼い頃から日本語に強い興味を持っており、漢字や日本語の音の響きは、私が知っている言語とは全く異なるものでした。フランスでは、アニメがテレビで放映されたり、書店でマンガが販売されたりと、幼い頃から日本文化に触れる機会があります。私は音楽も大好きで、高校時代には様々な日本のアーティストに感動を受けました。
こうして全く異なる文化を学ぶ経験を重ねた結果、人とつながり、自分の文化を伝えることほど美しい瞬間はないと感じています。私たちの文化は私たち自身であり、私たちの大切な一部です。そして、それを教えることで、自分自身の文化とも再びつながることができます。だからこそ、私はフランス語を教えることにしました。

First, I would like to thank you for taking the time to read my profile.
As you can see, I don’t have a lot of experience teaching French, but I have worked in several types of service jobs, which have taught me how to make people feel comfortable and listen to their needs.
Making you feel comfortable is very important to me, because learning should be an enjoyable experience. Responding to your individual needs is also essential, as everyone has their own skills, level, and goals, and we need to take those into consideration to help you progress.
I will focus on these points and do my best to help you enjoy learning French, and to spark your curiosity about French culture.

生徒さんがリラックスして学べる環境を作ることはとても大切にしています。学ぶことは楽しくあるべきだと思っています。また、各生徒さんにはそれぞれのスキルやレベル、目標がありますので、それを考慮しながらサポートすることも重要だと考えています。

After my graduation back in France, I came to Japan to improve my oral communication skills. I stayed and had my children in Japan, balancing raising them with part-time jobs, which taught me to see Japanese culture from different perspectives and helped me understand it better. Before having children, I occasionally taught French to conversation partners in cafés, which were very pleasant and casual experiences.

フランスで大学を卒業した後、会話力を向上させるために日本に留学しました。留学後、ワーキングホリデービザを取得し、日本人と結婚して子どもを産みました。育児とパートタイムの仕事を両立させながら過ごす中で、さまざまな視点から日本文化を理解することができました。子どもが生まれる前は、カフェで会話パートナーにフランス語を教えることもあり、とても楽しくカジュアルな時間を過ごしました。
