10 years work experience as a French and English teacher.
French teacher at Yokohama Saint-Maur International School since 2013.

I came to Japan after 10 years in the French police (I was working for different units as the anti-criminality squad of the subway in Paris or for the International Cooperation Direction (accompanying and protecting VIP from overseas). I came to Japan to share my international experience previously acquired in the police (International Cooperation Direction) and give a chance of improvement of both confidence and conversational skills to my Japanese students.

I'm using my own teaching material. For beginners, I like to start with the basics of the language (conjugation, grammar) thanks to step by step lessons with some exercises and vocabulary list.

For intermediate and advanced, I think the best is to practice the language through conversation with a native speaker.

In France, I was freelance translator (mostly English to French). I was doing translations mainly about technical and marketing documents (IT).

After that, I travelled in New-Zealand and Australia where I worked in farms and the wine industry.

And finally in Japan, I'm working as a freelance French teacher. I'm teaching to every levels students but a majority of beginners.

I studied languages at university and thanks to my travels I could practice those languages. And when I arrived in Japan I wanted to transmit what I have learnt through teaching.

I use my own teaching materials or the student’s. I teach according to the student’s level and interests. I always try to make my classes fun so that students can enjoy while learning in a good atmosphere.

I have more than 10 years of teaching experience. I teach for french exams like TEF, TEFaQ, TCF, TCFQ, visa interview, Quebec immigration interview, basic french, etc. I have thaught french to JICA volunteers before they go abroad.

Curiosity: I was curious in knowing more about Japan. Languages help to know more about people's culture. That's why I decided to teach french and learn foreign languages.

From the first year in primary school to my graduation from my home town university, the education was done in French.
Even if I have not teach before, I have a lot to share, to improve your skill in speaking, reading, and listening French.
