I arrived in Japan in march 2024.
I love teaching and sharing knowledge. It would be a pleasure to teach french, a language that I love, to new students.

My wife is japanese. After years in France, we decided to move to Japan to get close to her family. I love learning new things, but I also teach new things to other, especially new languages.

I can provide you a “head start” in mastering basic skills. I am challenged to be creative and most of all, patient.

The most important is to understand people and to be able to communicate with simple word.

It is my goal to combine my range of experience with my ability to be a compassionate, enthusiastic, intelligent teacher.

I'am here to improve my skills in a Language Japanese School. And I want to help back with my mother tongue.

Handbooks, French/English Grammar book, recording from official sources such as newspapers, magazines, academic articles.

Discussion based, homework, prepare a thema and speak it with me so we can exchange ideas.

Exchange our feelings about a particular subject, to learn the mindset of the French/English people.

I have always been fascinated by Japan. Now, I am teaching english as a part-time job to sustain while I study at Waseda University.

For french I would use usual books and arrange it my way and use as supports, movies, songs etc..
For japanese I already gave japanese class for 2 years so I have a few lessons. I made my lessons based on differents manuals I used during my personal japanese studies. I like to add manual activities so it doesn't look too boring.

Learning by speaking.
I don't like to teach only by the book. Language is a living thing and so we are, so I like to teach depending on the mood of the student and on his/her objectives.

I use all sorts of media (text, audio, video) to teach the language in context and to promote fluency. I like to focus on culture and current events in order to learn more than just the language and to develop a wider understanding of its associated culture.

I have been teaching in several formats. One to one or in groups.

First of all, for the beginner and the intermediate students, I divided the lesson in two parts. The first part is technical; we learn the grammar, the vocabulary, and we do several easy written/oral exercises in order to understand fully the technical aspect of the French language. The second part is based on discussion; the student and I have a “situation discussion” where we try to incorporate the technical part that we learned during the first part. We talk about the French food, music, travelling in France.

Second of all, for the advanced students, we usually focus on discussion and reading and analyzing French Magazines or newspaper. We have a lot of discussions on the French culture (wine, food, singers, cinema, politics). More than a discussion, the student is strongly welcomed to write down the new vocabulary or grammar rules that he learns during the discussion.

However, it doesn’t matter if you are a beginner, an intermediate, or advance student! You can always ask me what you what do to – like watch a French movie or learn a French song – and I will be glad to do it!

I can use a lot of different textbooks but I usually make a special course according to the student needs.

I will use textbooks based on french litterature because it has a lot of beautiful and easy words which if know can give you. Better vocabulary. Then i teach the basic Cod and Coi which are very useful to make good sentences with a good meaning. Then also conversation, role play and writing.

I want to help you learn, and finally master French. I will provide my own teaching material and will first see where you have difficulties, so that we can focus on those issues to help you improve.
I think that confidence is really important for learning a different language and that is why an important part of my courses consist on showing you how much you progressed.
I am confident that in a few lessons, you will already feel the difference.

I am used to training people for exams, and if you are preparing for one, we will regularly work on passed exams, and I will sometime ask you to do exercises by yourself that I will correct to see where you stand, and how we can improve furthermore your score.
